Jane Foster Sharpe, 93 passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Authora Care Hospice Home on Sunday April 26, 2026.
Jane was born September 29, 1932 to the late John and Cleta Foster and was the wife of the late Bobby Gene Sharpe. Jane is survived by her daughter Linda Sharpe Ward and husband Butch Ward with whom she resided with for the last year. Grandchildren Logan Sharpe wife Emily of Elon, NC, Ashley Bolton and husband Phillip of Graham, NC and Corey Akins and husband Mark of Huntersville, NC, Great-grandchildren Carson, Porter, Braxton, Ava, Lyla Kate, Maddy and Sadie, Sister Penny Butler and husband Tony, brother-in-law Larry Sharpe, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter and son-in-law Cathy and Jim Kilgore, brother Floyd Foster, sister Gay Foster Sharpe and great granddaughter Kinsley Akins.
Jane was a member of Bellemont United Methodist Church where she was an active member in United Methodist Women and various day circles. The service of celebration of Jane life will be held on Wednesday April 29, 2026, at Bellemont Methodist Church. The family will receive family and friends at 10:30 a.m. at Bellemont Methodist Church with service to follow 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Bellemont Methodist Church.
