Three area football teams without a league loss are set to play Mid-Carolina Conference road games.
Here’s a look at Friday night’s games:
Eastern Alamance at Southern Alamance
These teams haven’t faced a common opponent, but Eastern has racked up 175 points and Southern has scored 173 points across their respective first four games.
Eastern (3-1 overall, 1-0 Mid-Carolina Conference) is seeking its first three-game winning streak since opening the 2023 season with five consecutive victories.
Southern (3-1, 0-1) is the only team in Alamance County that lost its most-recent game.
The Patriots have defeated Eastern in each of the past three seasons.

Southeast Alamance at Cummings
Southeast (4-0, 1-0) is looking to reach the midway mark of the schedule unscathed.
The status of Southeast running back D.J. Callis (shoulder injury) might be in limbo entering the game.
Cummings (1-3, 0-1) will be playing in its only scheduled September home game.
Southeast has won three straight meetings with the Cavaliers since Cummings claimed the first matchup.
Western Alamance at Roxboro Person
Western (3-0, 0-0), which was off last week, is playing in its conference opener.
“I think our tougher games are yet to be played,” Western linebacker Bryce Renner said. “We’re not intimidated, but we’re definitely motivated.”
These teams have met in each of the past nine seasons, with Western winning each time.
Roxboro Person (1-3, 0-1) is beginning a stretch of three consecutive home games.
Williams at High Point Andrews
This non-conference game was added because Williams (2-0) had an opening when Graham dropped its varsity team this year.
The Bulldogs are 2-0 for the first time since 2019.
High Point Andrews (4-0) adjusted its schedule after High Point Central announced it was dropping its varsity team.
High Point Andrews has outscored its opponents by a combined 146-39, with the closest result a 28-19 decision at Thomasville in its season opener.
