A rural Burlington man who allegedly threatened someone and fired a gun he wasn’t supposed to possess several times at the scene has been arrested by the Alamance County sheriff’s office and charged with multiple offenses.

Sheriff’s deputies initially responded to a call Thursday night in Snow Camp about a man who had threatened a resident on Curtis Trace despite a protective order to stay away from the person.

Deputies confirmed the presence of shell casings on the scene, were told the suspect’s name, obtained warrants for his arrest and subsequently arrested Ryan Michael Bagby-Hanson, black, male, 22, at his residence near Pleasant Grove on 5132 Dailey Store Road, Burlington.
