ABSS SCHOOL GRADES: IS THE GLASS HALF FULL, HALF EMPTY. . . OR PERHAPS BOTH. There were four fewer Fs among the 37 ABSS school scores, but no additional As. One more B (three, up from two). Eight schools showed a letter grade improvement, while three others showed declines. But almost half the schools were determined to be “continually low-performing,” which means they’ve been determined to be low performing for at least two of the past three years. And 47 percent received Ds or Fs during the most recent school year.
