A man from Burlington has been arrested on felony drug charges after local sheriff’s deputies came across a quantity of cocaine during a warranted search of his apartment.
According to the office of Alamance County’s sheriff, Christopher Lamar Crawley was taken into custody on Tuesday, March 4 after its deputies completed their search of Apartment D5 at 1212 Collins Drive in Burlington.
Court records indicate that the haul from Crawley’s apartment included 16.9 grams of cocaine as well as a scale and some plastic baggies that were apparently used to repackage the drug. The 39-year-old was consequently charged with one felony count for cocaine possession with the intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver the drug as well as the maintenance of a dwelling for storage and sale of the said controlled substance.
Crawley also faces a misdemeanor charge for the possession of drug paraphernalia. He has been placed under a $10,000 bond since his arrest.
