Burlington police investigating Easter night murder at North Church Street trailer park

Burlington police are investigating a murder that took place Sunday night at Traveler’s Rest Mobile Home Park, 2417 North Church Street in Burlington.

Upon arrival at 11:22 p.m., officers found a 19-year-old male dead next to the roadway within the park.

Police subsequently found a separate victim, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, traveling in a vehicle on North Church Street; he is being treated “at a regional hospital and is in stable condition,” according to the police press release on the crimes.

Police said they are not releasing information on the victims “as efforts are made to notify their next of kin.”  Police also said they have no suspect information to release as yet.

TUESDAY UPDATE: Burlington police have updated information. Marcus Sean Snipes, 19, male, of Graham was the murder victim.  The man in vehicle, who was also shot, is identified as Carl Devonte Little, 27, male, of Elon.  There is still no additional information on the suspect.
