Burlington police seek public’s assistance in camera store break-in

Police in Burlington are looking for an individual who broke into an area camera shop in the small hours on Tuesday.

According to the city’s police department, the suspect in this case smashed a window in order to access the Camera Corner retail store at 2273 South Church Street shortly after midnight.

Although the break-in triggered a burglar alarm, the culprit was gone by the time officers arrived on the scene – along with over $10,000 in merchandise.

The police department has obtained security footage of the break-in that appears to show an individual in hooded sweatshirt and gloves fleeing the scene in a nondescript sedan.
