Candidates lining up for non-partisan school board race

More candidates are lining up for ABSS school board.  Three seats are on the ballot for November.  Filing ends next Friday, March 4 at noon.

A fourth candidate, Seneca Rogers, filed for the non-partisan seat on Friday. Rogers was the fifth-place finisher (among 11 candidates) in the school board race in 2020 when four seats were on the ballot.

When filing season reopened on Thursday, former state representative and county commissioner Dan Ingle filed for a school board seat, as did newcomer Charles Parker of Mebane.

They join Chuck Marsh, who filed during the earlier filing period in December.
