Female BCA coach charged with 2 sexual felonies for actions with student at private school where she works

A female employee at Burlington Christian Academy has been arrested for allegedly engaging in an inappropriate relationship with one of the school’s students.

According to the Burlington police department, Marissa Faye Carter has been charged with two felonies for her alleged indiscretions with the student at the same parochial school where she has worked as a coach.

A 23-year-old resident of Burlington, Carter is currently accused of indecent liberties with a student as well as an indecent sex act with a student.

She has been placed under a $10,000 bond since her arrest.
