It’s Mid-Carolina Conference play for the rest of the regular season for all Alamance County football teams.
Here’s a look at Friday’s games, which are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. starts:
Southern Alamance at Eastern Alamance
Both teams have won two in a row since 0-2 starts.
The teams have split their last six meetings, though Southern (2-2, 1-0) has prevailed in the past two.
Eastern (2-2, 1-0) will play a home game for the first time since its opener.
Cummings at Southeast Alamance
These teams have met three times across the past two seasons, all in late October or November. Southeast has won the past two matchups, both on the road.
Cummings (2-2, 0-1) has a two-game winning streak.
With its 35-6 loss at Southern Alamance last week, Southeast (3-1, 0-1) suffered its fifth margin of defeat by more than 25 points in the third-year program’s seven all-time setbacks.
Graham at Williams
Williams has won the last five meetings, though the teams last met in 2019.
Williams (3-1, 1-0) held solo first place in the Mid-Carolina Conference since winning the opener vs. Cummings, but now all the league’s teams have played one conference game.
Graham (0-4, 0-1) hasn’t scored in its last four games against Alamance County opponents, including three times last year.
Roxboro Person at Western Alamance
Western (3-1, 1-0) begins a stretch of four of its next five games at home.
The Warriors have defeated the Rockets in every meeting during the last decade, with the only single-digit margins in those eight matchups coming by 21-19 in 2023 and 20-19 in 2024.
Roxboro Person (2-2, 0-1) had a season-low point total in last week’s 42-16 home loss to Eastern Alamance.
