Graham’s city council will conduct two public hearings on Tuesday night to consider two new subdivisions.
One is for about 200 new single-family homes between Lacy Holt Road and Rockwood Drive. Some neighbors voiced opposition to the plan as being “too dense” for the southern Graham area where it would be located. A divided planning board recommended approval for the rezoning to accommodate the new subdivision 4-2.
The second, at Stillhouse Farm, is the third variation submitted over the past 15 years for a townhouse development in a different part of southern Graham, off Cheeks Lane. This proposal for about 105 townhouses received a unanimous endorsement from the planning board.
