Mebane city council member Montrena Hadley was recognized during the city council’s January meeting Monday night for her recent receipt of the 2024 President Biden Lifetime Achievement Award. The award is given by the Raleigh-based organization Amazing Grace Etiquette, Inc. to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to both their local community and the state of North Carolina.
The organization was founded by Donna Corbett, who grew up in the West End community of Mebane.
