Alamance County’s sheriff’s office has made two arrests in connection with a spate of thefts at Eastern High School in Mebane.

For three weeks in July (July 7 to 24), the high school was the target for three break-ins on the school’s campus near the athletic fields.
Among items reported stolen were a John Deere Gator UTV, a back pack leaf blower, numerous gas cans, and a cooler.
Detectives with the Alamance County’s sheriff’s office developed Jacob Carl Beasley and his girlfriend, Ariel Marie DeAngelo, as suspects in the thefts.
A search warrant issued for the couple’s residence and vehicles turned up the stolen property.
Both were arrested on Thursday during a traffic stop and taken to the Alamance County jail.
Jacob Carl Beasley, white, male, 26, of 6075 North NC Highway 49, Mebane has been charged with three counts of felony breaking and entering; three counts of felony larceny after breaking and entering; two counts of felony possession of stolen property; one count of felony larceny of a motor vehicle; and one count of misdemeanor damage to personal property.

Beasley was issued a $21,000 secured bond.
Beasley’s girlfriend, Ariel Marie DeAngelo, white, female, 32, of the same address was arrested and charged with one count of felony possession of stolen property. Her bond was set at $5,000 unsecured.
