Mebane residents needed for bicycle and pedestrian commission

The City of Mebane is seeking interested residents of the City to apply for a position on its Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission (BPAC). Application deadline is Friday, September 22. The City hopes to fill one open position. The term of service will last through January 2025.

Applicants should be experienced and knowledgeable of bicycle and pedestrian matters, including the City of Mebane Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation Plan. BPAC operates as an advisory body to the Mebane City Council and is served by the City’s Planning staff. The new member will be appointed by the City Council in October 2023.
