[Democratic candidate Warren L. Parks, Jr. did not respond to multiple e-mailed requests for his responses to the newspaper’s issues questionnaire, nor for biographical information. The Alamance County Board of Elections lists his address as 1724 Blackwell Road, Burlington.
[He did not leave a phone number with the board when he filed, only an email address, but the newspaper was ultimately able to contact him by phone, although after the original deadline.
[Mr. Parks originally told the publisher he would submit his responses by email, which the newspaper would have included. But he later advised the newspaper “Unfortunately, I am unable to participate in this questionnaire at this time.”]
