Kathleen Patterson was formally sworn in as Elon’s town clerk earlier this week after completing her six-month “probationary” period as a municipal staff member.
Monti Allison (right), Elon’s mayor pro tem, administered the oath of office to Patterson on Monday while town manager Richard Roedner (center) had the honor of holding her Bible.
