OVERNIGHT BREAK-IN AT BURLINGTON MINI MART – Burlington police officers were dispatched at 2:42 a.m. Saturday morning to Dave’s Mini Mart, 506 Chapel Hill Road, based on a burglar alarm having been set off.
Responding officers discovered that an unknown suspect had gained entry into the business by using a blunt object to shatter a window. The suspect took several grocery items and packs of cigarettes and fled south through the parking lot toward Tucker Street.

The suspect is described as: a light-skinned male, 5’8-5’10, average build, wearing khaki style pants, a gray sweatshirt jacked with burgundy sleeves, and carrying a yellow backpack.
