A countywide drug interdiction task force has arrested two men for their alleged roles in a fatal overdose that occurred in Burlington last November.
According to the Alamance Narcotics Enforcement Team (ANET), Ronald Johnson was the first of the pair to be arrested for this opioid-related fatality. The 24-year-old white male was reportedly taken into custody on Friday and charged with felony-level death by distribution.
On Monday, ANET also arrested Aaron Parsons, a 30-year-old white male, with felony-level aiding and abetting death by distribution.
Both Johnson and Parsons have been placed under bonds of $200,000 each.
