A pedestrian was killed in Burlington Thursday when he walked in front of a car on Chapel Hill Road.
Burlington’s Police Department reports that the accident occurred about 5:30 on Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Chapel Hill Road and Tucker Street.
A 22-year-old female driver from Gibsonville (unidentified in the Saturday, September 3 police news release on the accident) was driving a 2016 Toyota Corolla west on Chapel Hill Road.
As she approached what police say was a “steady green light” at the intersection, a man “entered her lane of travel on foot causing the collision.”
Killed was Nathaniel Navarro, a 22-year-old male of Burlington.
