Police in Burlington are looking for a man who reportedly shot another individual at an area gas station on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the city’s police department, the suspect in this case wounded a 28-year-old male when he opened fire at Huff’s, a Shell gas station and convenience store located at 2562 Maple Avenue, at about 4:00 p.m.
Described as a “light-skinned male of an unknown race” with “long dreads,” the shooter subsequently left the scene in a late model Kia Optima, which reportedly headed east on

I-85/40. The police department has circulated surveillance photos of the vehicle in an effort to identify the culprit.
