Police seek no charges against driver after pedestrian fatality

Burlington’s police department has released the name of a pedestrian who was killed last week in a traffic accident near the juncture of West Webb Avenue and Fisher Street.

According to the police department, 52-year-old Ryan Lee Griswold was pronounced dead at the scene after he was struck by a passing vehicle shortly before 7:00 p.m. last Wednesday.

The police department has added that it hasn’t filed any charges against the vehicle’s driver, who remained on the scene after the crash.
