The Truliant Foundation has given its first Bridge Grant to SAFE, Inc of Graham. The grant will provide $15,000 each year for three years to support SAFE’s Pathways to Stability project in southern Alamance County and nearby communities.

The Bridge Grant is the Truliant Foundation’s first multi-year grant program, which will provide meaningful support to nonprofit organizations with the financial stability and consistency necessary to create real change and impact in their communities.

SAFE, Inc. (Southern Alamance Family Empowerment) is a nonprofit organization serving Alamance County, North Carolina. Its Pathways to Stability project helps individuals and families build a more stable financial future through food assistance, access to resources, job preparation, transportation support, and connections to housing, health care, and other community services.

SAFE’s community workers and social workers guide people one-on-one, helping to secure benefits, build job skills, solve urgent problems, and work toward financial security and independence.

The Bridge Grant program provides $15,000 a year for three years to one nonprofit selected from a group of nonprofits invited to apply.

The nonprofit must serve a Truliant member community and must have received Foundation funding before.

Five groups in Truliant’s eastern Piedmont region were invited to apply this year and in 2027, the Truliant Foundation will identify the next region of Truliant communities served by existing Truliant Foundation grantees.

Established in 2023, the Truliant Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity with a purpose to lift up and transform Truliant member communities through charitable giving, collaboration, and meaningful partnerships. The Foundation strives to be a catalyst of growth for established non-profits seeking the support and guidance they need to flourish and spark positive change in their communities. The Foundation also provides college scholarships to Truliant members and relief funds to Truliant employees facing unforeseen personal hardships. Learn more or donate at Truliant.org/Foundation.
