Shooting in Burlington leaves one dead, another wounded

Police in Burlington insist they have “strong leads” in a shooting that left one person dead and another hospitalized on the day before Thanksgiving.

According to the city’s police department, this fatal burst of gunfire erupted last Wednesday evening along the 800 block of Avon Avenue.

By the time officers arrived on the scene at 10:42 p.m., one victim, who was later identified as 24-year-old Quinnton Enoch, had already succumbed to his wounds.

Meanwhile, a second individual – 32-year-old Christopher Moore – was rushed to an area hospital with “non-life-threatening injuries.”

The police department contends that its investigators have been “following up on strong leads” since the shooting took place.
