A 21-year-old from Snow Camp has been arrested after he allegedly shared illicit images of children using the Snapchat instant messaging app.
Dalton Paris Talley was ultimately taken into custody last Tuesday after an investigation that began in February when the office of Alamance County’s sheriff received a tip about the inappropriate uploads.

According to the sheriff’s office, the ensuing inquiry eventually led to a search of the 21-year-old white male’s residence at 2665 Quackenbush Road in Snow Camp. This search reportedly uncovered both images and video of what the sheriff’s office describes as “child sexual abuse materials.”
As a result of this search, Talley has been charged with six felony counts of the second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He has been placed under a $300,000 bond.
