Two people have been arrested for felony larceny of a motor vehicle in separate incidents, according to a press release issued Monday from the Alamance County sheriff’s office.

The first incident began on November 9, when deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle.  The investigation revealed that Michael George Frederico had taken the vehicle on October 30 without permission and had never returned it.

He was subsequently arrested by the Burlington Police Department.  Frederico, white, male, 33, of 329 Trail Three in Burlington is charged with felony larceny of a motor vehicle.  His bond was set at $5,000.

Separately, on Thanksgiving Day (November 25), sheriff’s deputies responded to a home on Thompson Mill Road, also in response to a report of a stolen vehicle.  The victim had left her vehicle in the driveway; a front porch camera showed Sherry Baldwin Robertson driving away with it.

Deputies discovered the vehicle on NC Highway 87 South.  Robertson, white, female, 46 of 5908A Thompson Mill Road, Graham was arrested and charged with felony larceny of a motor vehicle and felony possession of a stolen vehicle.  Her bond was set at $2,0000.
