United Way recently honored and celebrated volunteers that were nominated for the 2022 Local Volunteer Awards. Each year, nominations are accepted for outstanding volunteer service in Alamance County.
Five volunteers are chosen to receive a $1,000 donation to their nominating agency, courtesy of the Labcorp Charitable Foundation, as well as being nominated for the Governor’s Volunteer Service Award.
The 2022 Alamance County Volunteer Winners were: Kathy Gates – Little Pink Houses of Hope; Dr Ryan – Stepping Up Initiative; Martha Concepcion – Alamance County Guardian ad Litem; Charlotte Evans – Freedom’s Hope Compassionate Ministry; and Pamela Brumbaugh – Newlin Partnership.
The 2022 Alamance County Volunteer Nominees were: Ann Honeycutt – Alamance Arts and Casey Perry Johnston – Alamance County Meals On Wheels.
