Western Alamance soccer coach Camden Brooks will be the head coach for the West girls’ soccer team in the 2026 North Carolina East-West All-Star Game next July in Greensboro.
Brooks coaches the boys’ and girls’ teams for the Warriors, with both those squads winning state championships during the last school year.
Steven Barbour of Fayetteville Sanford will coach the East girls’ team in the all-star event. The boys’ coaches will be Wilmington Hoggard’s Dwight Findlay for the East and West Caldwell’s Thomas Clark for the West.
Those soccer games will be held July 21 at Jamieson Stadium. The North Carolina Coaches Association makes selections for coaches.
For the boys’ basketball game next summer (July 20), Joseph Spinks of Eastern Guilford will coach the West team, while Matt Brown of Northwood is the East coach. Coaches for the girls’ game on that same date are Whiteville’s Serena Smith for the East and Highlands’ Brett Lamb for the West.
