Deputies with the Alamance County sheriff’s office have arrested a man in northern Alamance County who has been charged with committing indecent liberties with a child.
The case first arose earlier this year on Sunday, May 21, when investigators with the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit (SVU) were informed that a male caregiver of a minor was believed to be committing indecent liberties with a child.
During the investigation, SVU found probable cause existed to charge the caregiver identified as Billy Michael Daniels.
Daniels was arrested Thursday and taken to the Alamance County jail.
Billy Michael Daniels, white, male, 35, of Fleming Graham Road, Burlington in northern Alamance County has been charged with two felony counts of indecent liberties with a child. His bond was set at $75,000 secured.
