Billy “Bill” Warren Griffin, 74, of Graham, NC passed away at Moses Cone Hospital on Monday, July 15, 2024.
A native of Monroe, NC, he was the husband of 28 years to Katie Griffin, who survives, and the son of James Crawford Griffin and Winnie Roxanna Keziah Griffin, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was employed with Culp for 30 years as a purchasing agent. Bill was an avid gardener and loved to work in his yard. He loved his family and especially his only grandson. He was a member of The Lambs Chapel and loved his church family.
In addition to his wife of their home, survivors include his son, Casey Griffin and wife Terri; grandson, Noah Brian Griffin; and four siblings, Jerry E. Griffin, Clarence Griffin, Doris Broom, and Lenoria Helms. He was preceded in death by a sister, Bertha Snead and his best friend of 16 years, his dog Max.
A memorial service will be conducted at The Lambs Chapel in Burlington by Rev. Ken Smith on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
