The public will take notice that the City Council of the City of Mebane will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers of the Glendel Stephenson Municipal Building located at 106 E. Washington Street, Mebane, NC 27302, on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. to consider the following:
Request to rezone four properties totaling +/- 229.31 acres located around the Mill Creek Golf Course (Alamance County GPINs 9826205290, 9826220237, 9826019734, and Orange County GPIN 9825396817), from R-12 and R-20 to R-8 (CD), R-10 (CD), and R-12(CD) for a development consisting of 565 single-family homes by Lennar Carolinas, LLC.

Alamance County Meals on Wheels, Inc. (ACMOW) is accepting bids to provide meals to our clients in Alamance County from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026. ACMOW will have proposal packages available at its office from March 11-April 11, 2025 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for its Home Delivered Meals Nutrition Program which serves approximately 350 hot meals each weekday, 75 congregate meals, and 200 frozen meals each week to elderly individuals in Alamance County, North Carolina. The contract is a twelve-month contract (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026), with options to renew for two additional twelve-month periods (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027 and July 1, 2027 – June 30, 2028). A mandatory conference will take place on April 9, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the ACMOW office.
