Police in Burlington have raided an alleged illegal gambling den based on complaints that it originally received from the community.
According to the city’s police department, officers searched the premises of “Asian Mini Mart” at 2312 Maple Avenue following an investigation that reportedly grew out of “multiple” community tips.

During the course of this operation, officers seized several pieces of what they believe to be illegal gaming equipment.

The department has yet to announce any arrests as a result of this raid, although it does describe the investigation as “ongoing” and acknowledges “the potential for future charges.”
