The newest Alamance-Burlington school board member, Dr. Eric Hall of Elon, is joined by his wife, Dr. Katherine Hall, and children Spencer and Gemma Hall, as Alamance County district court judge Craig Turner delivers the oath of office at the ABSS Central Office Tuesday night.

School board members voted 4-2 to appoint Hall to complete the remaining 19 months of the term of former board member, Chuck Marsh, who resigned earlier this year.

Hall’s children attend Elon Elementary School.  He is employed as the assistant provost for scholarship and creative activity, director of undergraduate research, and a professor of exercise science at Elon University.

The term runs until December 2026.
