Cummings graduate Drew Williamson is heading back to the Final Four, this time with Michigan. He’s an assistant coach for the Wolverines.
Williamson will be on the bench in a coaching role for the second time in the Final Four. On Saturday, Michigan faces Arizona in the nightcap of the national semifinals in Indianapolis. The winner meets the Connecticut/Illinois winner Monday night for the championship.
Williamson was on head coach Dusty May’s staff at Florida Atlantic when the Owls reached the Final Four in 2023. When May left for Michigan following the 2023-24 season, Williams joined him.
