Two men from Burlington have been arrested after a domestic disturbance earlier this month that reportedly ended when a motor vehicle was shot up.
According to the city’s police department, Zaymion Laquawn Robinson and Dalvin Jauane Tyner were both taken into custody within a day or two of the shooting, which occurred along Adams Street in the small hours on Saturday, May 16.
The police department notes that Robinson is accused of firing into a vehicle after the aforementioned domestic disturbance turned physical. The 19-year-old black male of 212 Adams Street currently faces misdemeanor charges for assault with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm within Burlington’s municipal limits, and injury to personal property. According to the police department, he was released from custody after posting a $1,500 secured.
Tyner was arrested for his part in the domestic disturbance on May 17, according to the police department. The 33-year-old black male, who shares Robinson’s residential address, has been charged with the misdemeanor offenses of communicating threats and going armed to the terror of the public. He also faces a felony charge for the illegal possession of a firearm by a previously convicted felon.
According to Bur-lington’s police department, Tyner was also served with outstanding warrants when he was arrested on May 16. He is currently incarcerated without bond.
