BREAKING FRI.: Third suspect arrested in Graham double homicide case

A Durham man has been arrested in connection with an August double homicide in Graham that resulted in the deaths of two 16-year-olds.

Earlier this week, the Graham police announced the arrests of two teenagers – ages 14 and 17 – who were charged with first degree murder in those cases.

Today, the department has announced the arrest of a third suspect, a Durham man charged with two counts of being an accessory after the fact to first degree murder.

Taijon Martre Laury, 20, was originally arrested this morning in Durham on one count of a probation violation. Graham police report that he was given a $1 million secured bond on that charge.

He was brought to Alamance County, where he received a $2 million secured bond on the accessory-after-the-fact charges.

The Graham police department emphasizes that this investigation is still active and ongoing.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 336-570-6711 and speak directly to Captain Duane Flood with the Criminal Investigations Division. The public can also leave information anonymously by contacting Alamance County Crime Stoppers at 336-229-7100.

[Editor’s note: some discrepancy on spelling of suspect’s name.  Graham police press release indicates first name of Tayjon; sheriff’s office (jail) booking photo says Taijon.]
