BREAKING NEWS: judge decides on motion to dismiss NAACP lawsuit against Confederate monument

Visiting superior court judge Don Bridges agreed with Alamance County’s attorneys, ruling Tuesday to dismiss a lawsuit filed by the NAACP and other plaintiffs seeking to remove the Confederate statute on the north side of the Historic Court House.

The NAACP gave immediate notice of appeal.
