Gibsonville police seek help in finding two people wanted for financial crimes

Gibsonville police are seeking the public’s help in finding two people wanted for financial crimes.

On Wednesday, July 21, 2021, detectives with the Gibsonville Police Department executed a search warrant at 816 Burlington Avenue, Gibsonville related to an ongoing financial crimes investigation.

Two people who were the primary residents and are persons of interest in the investigation.

Wanted by Gibsonville police are:

Leo Luis Williams, white, male, 31 on six counts each of: uttering a forged instrument,

forging of an endorsement, identity theft, and obtaining property under false pretense; and

Angeline Jeannette Rodriguez, white, female, 40, who is wanted for two counts each

of the same offenses: uttering a forged instrument, forging of an endorsement, identity theft, and obtaining property under false pretense.

Additional charges are pending upon completion of the investigation, according to the police.
