The second suspect in the September 28 murder of a Burlington teenager has been arrested. Burlington police announced Monday the arrest of Cylence Carlos Russell, 18, black, male of Burlington.

He and Michael Tyrelle Bowe, 26, black, male, of Graham, who had been arrested on October 19, are each charged with first degree murder in the death of Deykwon Gilmore, a black 18-year-old from Burlington.
Both are also charged with robbery in connection with the murder.

Gilmore was found shot to death beside Railroad Street in Burlington on September 28.

Burlington police credited the community and Crimestoppers in particular for their assistance in Russell’s arrest, which took place Wednesday in the 100 block of North Ireland Street in Burlington.
