The Elmira Community Center at 810 Wicker Street (shown above and below) is one of four early voting locations that will be open throughout the two-and-a-half-week period of early voting ahead of next month’s partisan primaries.

Also serving as polling sites during this stretch are the Graham Rec Center at 311 College Street, Elon’s South Gym at 329 South Antioch Avenue, and the Mebane Art and Community Center at 633 Corregidor Street.
Eligible voters from across Alamance County will be able to cast early ballots at any of these four locations from Thursday, February 15 through Saturday, March 2.
Each of theses site will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on weekdays.
Early voting will also take place on Saturday, February 24 from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.; on Sunday, February 25 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.; and on Saturday, March 2 from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
None of the four early voting locations will be operational on either Saturday, February 17 or Sunday, February 18. Nor will there be any voting on the Sunday and Monday immediately preceding the primaries on Tuesday, March 5.
Voters who wait until the date of the primaries will have to visit their home precincts in order to cast their ballots.
