Former Sagebrush steakhouse renovations complete

Categories:

Workers have completed renovations on the former Sagebrush restaurant at 800 South Main Street in Graham.

Owner David Morton said the property is getting ready to be put on the market Friday. Morton owns Holly Hill Mall and several shopping centers in Burlington and Graham. The former Sagebrush steakhouse closed at least 10 years ago and has remained vacant since.

Both Morton and Graham mayor Jennifer Talley were on hand for a recent tour of the property and told The Alamance News that they are hoping to lure another steakhouse to the renovated restaurant.

Morton purchased the property for $630,000 in mid-January of this year, according to documents that were filed with Alamance County’s Register of Deeds to consummate the transaction.

Alamance County tax records list the total assessed value for the property, which includes 1.29 acres of land, at $408,229.
