Alamance County’s landfill at 2701 Austin Quarter Road in Graham (near Saxapahaw) will close early on Wednesday, December 15, according to an announcement from Alamance County government.
The landfill will close at 1:00 p.m. in order to undertake a paving project that afternoon. The closure includes all operations at the landfill: scales, convenience center, and recycling center.

The landfill will reopen and resume normal operations at 7:00 a.m. Thursday morning, December 16.
