The County of Alamance, North Carolina requests letters of interest and statements of qualifications from qualified and experienced engineering/environmental firms to provide annual professional engineering and surveying services for the Alamance County Solid Waste Department.
The County will select one firm on an as needed basis, to perform professional services in the following areas:
MSW Landfill Design, Permitting and QA/QC, Construction and Demolition Landfill Design, Permitting and QA/QC, Site Assessment, Landfill Gas Monitoring and Reporting, Groundwater Monitoring and Reporting, Master Planning and Permitting, Facilities Planning and Design, Gas and Groundwater Remediation, Stormwater Monitoring and Reporting, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Regulatory Compliance, Waste Stream Analysis and Minimization, Rate Studies, Risk Assessment, Cost Estimating, Solid Waste Area Access Roads, Annual Volume Surveys/Reports, SWPPP Annual Training, CAER Preparation, Preparation of presentation material for public meetings including AutoCAD drawings, poster boards, renderings, etc., Attendance at meetings.

The board will also consider the donation of one (1) surplus Law Enforcement vehicle to the Town of Green Level to enhance the towns law enforcement capacity.
