Please take notice that the Alamance County Board of Commissioners will hold a joint public hearing on Monday, December 20, 2021, at 7:00 PM to consider the local landmark designation of West Grove Friends Meeting House and Cemetery, located in Snow Camp. Local landmark designation will recognize the church’s exceptional contribution to the history of Alamance County and Snow Camp, and will make the property eligible to apply for an annual 50% property tax deferral as long as the property’s important historic features are maintained.

The public hearing will be held in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room located on the 2nd floor of the Alamance County Office Building, 124 West Elm Street, Graham NC 27253. All interested citizens are invited to attend.
