TO REZONE PROPERTY
The Burlington City Council will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 7:00 PM to consider a request to amend the existing Conditional Residential (CR 943) zoning district for three properties, addressed as 3715 Garden Road. The tract is 4.45 acres in size, and consists of Alamance County Tax Identification Numbers (PIDs) 107000, 107001, 107002.
This meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers, located on the upper level of the Municipal Building at 425 S. Lexington Ave., Burlington, NC 27215. This meeting will be recorded and live streamed via YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/COBNC.

This is an advertisement for the rebidding of the Burlington Downtown Streetscape – Phase 1 project. This is a unit price bid with qualification requirements.

This project includes streetscape improvements along Front Street from its intersection with Main Street to Spring Street, and along Spring Street from Front Street to Webb Avenue. The work consists of comprehensive roadway and pedestrian enhancements, including sidewalk reconstruction and widening, upgraded curb and gutter, ADA-compliant ramps, and improved crosswalks to promote accessibility and pedestrian safety.
Additional improvements include streetscape elements such as decorative paving, landscaping, street trees, pedestrian-scale lighting, and street furnishings to create an inviting and cohesive urban environment. The project also includes stormwater management upgrades, utility coordination and adjustments, and associated infrastructure improvements necessary to support long-term functionality and resilience.
