The public will take notice that the City Council of the City of Mebane will hold a quasi-judicial public hearing in the Council Chambers of the Glendel Stephenson Municipal Building located at 106 E. Washington Street, Mebane on Monday, April 4, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. to consider the following request:
Special Use Permit for a Special Purpose Lot for use as an Elevated Water Storage Tank, a Public Works Utility Facility, on +/-1.39 acres of a +/-5.16-acre property at 1500 South Third Street (GPIN 9814066338), by the City of Mebane.
Testimony from qualified professionals is permitted. The project consists renovation / reconstruction of a recently acquired building consisting of approximately 10,145 Square Feet located at 1128 South Main Street, Graham, NC. The building was formally a bank and will be renovated to be used by the Alamance County Board of Elections for office and storage space.
