The City of Mebane requests interested residents of the City to apply for a vacant position on the Mebane Planning Board. The Planning Board operates as an advisory body to the Mebane City Council on Zoning and Land Use matters and is served by the City’s Planning staff. The term of service will last through June 2023. Interested residents within the Mebane City Limits are invited to download a copy of the application form at the City’s Planning Department website (https://cityofmebanenc.gov/documents/boards-and-commissions-application/) or contact the City of Mebane Planning Department to request one. The application deadline is Monday, May 30, 2022.

Public Notice
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA-Part B, Public Law 108-446) Project is presently being amended. The Project describes the special education programs that Alamance-Burlington School System proposes for Federal funding for the 2022-2023 School Year. Interested persons are encouraged to review amendments to the Project and make comments concerning the implementation of special education under this Federal Program. All comments will be considered prior to submission of the amended Project to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction in Raleigh, North Carolina. The IDEA-Part B Project is open to the public for review and comments during the week of May 26, 2022 through May 27, 2022 by virtual appointment. BE IT RESOLVED by the Alamance County Board of Elections that:
(1) The Alamance County Board of Elections shall meet at 2:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, May 17, 2022 in the Alamance County Board of Elections building to count absentee ballots.
(2) Any voter of the county may attend this meeting and observe the counting, provided he/she shall not in any manner interfere with the election officials in the discharge of their duties.
(3) The results of the absentee ballot count will not be announced before 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.

The minor child was subsequently born on September 11, 2015 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. The father is believed to be a white male. The female may have been under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.
YOU ARE REQUIRED to answer the petition within 40 days after a date of initial publication (June 11, 2022), answer shall be filed with the Clerk of Superior Court of Alamance County, attention juvenile clerk. Your parental rights to the juvenile will be terminated upon failure to answer the petition within the time prescribed.
