ALAMANCE COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS
CONCERNING THE TIME TO MEET
TO COUNT ABSENTEE BALLOTS
On August 19, 2025, the Alamance County Board of Elections met at the Alamance County Board of Elections building in Graham, NC and adopted the following resolution:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Alamance County Board of Elections that:
(1) The Alamance County Board of Elections shall meet at 5:00 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2025, 2:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Alamance County Board of Elections office to count absentee ballots.
(2) Any voter of the county may attend this meeting and observe the counting, provided he/she shall not interfere in any manner with the election officials in the discharge of their duties.
(3) The results of the absentee ballot count will not be announced before 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.

The Gibsonville Board of Aldermen will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 3rd at 6:30pm at 129 W Main Street to consider amending the Land Development Ordinance to allow for ‘Micro Schools’ as a permitted use.
The Town of Gibsonville has annexed 14.139 acres located at 7135 Power Line Road (Guilford County Parcel 105287) into the town’s corporate limits. This annexation was recorded with the Guilford County Register of Deeds on October 2, 2025.

The Swepsonville Town Council will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall at Swepsonville United Methodist Church located at 1307 East Main St. Graham, NC 27253 to consider the request for voluntary annexation and zoning (highway business) for parcels: PIN 152154 and 152159. All persons interested in the above request are invited to attend the public hearing and will be given an opportunity to voice their concerns. For questions, please contact Town Hall.
