On August 22, 2023, the Alamance County Board of Elections met at the Alamance County Board of Elections building in Burlington NC and adopted the following resolution:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Alamance County Board of Elections that:
(1) The Alamance County Board of Elections shall meet at 2:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, October 10, 2023 and Tuesday, November 7, 2023 in the Alamance County Board of Elections building to count absentee ballots.
(2) The results of the absentee ballot count will not be announced before 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.

Public Hearing
The Swepsonville Town Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 7:00pm in the Fellowship Hall at Swepsonville United Methodist Church located at 1307 East Main St. Graham, NC 27253. The purpose of the hearing is to receive citizen input regarding the Non-Residential Commercial Maintenance Ordinance. Registered voters who live within the boundaries of Alamance, Burlington, Elon, Gibsonville, Graham, Green Level, Haw River, Mebane, Ossipee and Swepsonville may vote in the municipal election. Municipal contests include the mayor and members of the municipality’s governing board.
The voter registration deadline for this election is 5 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2023. Eligible individuals who are not registered by that deadline may register and vote at any early voting site during the early voting period. New registrants will be required to provide documentation of their residence.

On August 22, 2023 the Alamance County Board of Elections met at the Board of Elections office in Graham, North Carolina, and adopted the following resolution:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Alamance County Board of Elections that:
(1) The Alamance County Board of Elections will hold public meetings to determine the validity of absentee voting applications at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 5, September 12, September 19, September 26 and October 3, 2023 for the Election to be held on October 10, 2023. The time set for each meeting will be in lieu of 5:00 p.m. as provided for by statute.
(2) The Alamance County Board of Elections will hold public meetings to determine the validity of absentee voting applications at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 3, October 10, October 17, October 24 and October 31, 2023 for the Election to be held on November 7, 2023. The time set for each meeting will be in lieu of 5:00 p.m. as provided for by statute.
(3) Additional times to meet, as set by the Board, will be on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. and Monday, November 6, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. These times and dates are set on the authority of G.S.163-230.1 (f). The Board is not required to hold any of the prescribed meetings in said statute unless there are applications to be passed upon.
