The public will take notice that the City Council of the City of Mebane will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers of the Glendel Stephenson Municipal Building located at 106 E. Washington Street, Mebane, NC 27302, on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. to consider the following:
1. BE IT RESOLVED by the Alamance County Board of Elections that:
(1) The Alamance County Board of Elections shall meet at 2:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, October 10, 2023 and Tuesday, November 7, 2023 in the Alamance County Board of Elections building to count absentee ballots.
(2) The results of the absentee ballot count will not be announced before 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
