Loleta Gay Euliss Foley

Loleta Gay Euliss Foley, 85, of Graham, NC passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, July 26, 2026.

A native of Alamance County, NC, she was the daughter of Clinton M. Euliss and Alma Gray Beaver Euliss, both deceased. After graduating from Graham High School in 1959, she attended Elon College for a Business Accreditation. She began her career in banking at Bank of Alamance in 1960.  Through many mergers and acquisitions, First Union, Wachovia and Wells Fargo, she retired from Commercial Lending in 1999.  She was referred to as a “Lifer” in the banking industry.

Gay was a former member of the First United Methodist Church of Graham and presently a member of Swepsonville United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Women’s Circle and “in the day” she played for the Swepsonville Ladies’ Softball Team. Gay was a member of the Southern Alamance Booster’s Club while her girls attended school and the Women’s American Business Association and also volunteered with Hospice.

With all of Gay’s many accomplishments in her life, her greatest was her family.  Her family meant the world to her and was always her priority. Instilling those core values with her children was of the utmost importance to her…job well done.

Survivors include three daughters, Kim Foley of Mebane, Karen Foley Budd of Raleigh, and Kelly Foley Adams (Bobby) of Park City, Utah; six grandchildren, Baleigh Webb (Sean), Blair Wood (Austin), Spencer Budd (Vivian), Davis Budd (Molly), Robert Adams (Hannah), and Douglas Adams (Erin); and three great grandchildren, Kolby, Avett, and Bear.
